Season Wrap-Up

As this season comes to an end I would like to thank all of our volunteers for everything they’ve done, big or small, to make this league a better place for our players and families.

We would also like to ask that all of our families take a step back and look around at the people you interact with at the Little League everyday and ask yourself “would they be an asset to this league’s board?”. Or perhaps you’d like to be on the board yourself.  It takes a lot of dedicated volunteers to make this league work. If you believe you, or someone you know, could be this person, please submit their name and contact information to the snack bar so we can verify their nomination and get them on the ballot for our 2017 board. All nominations should be entered no later than Monday, May 23rd, 2016.

If anyone is interested in being an umpire for next year, please email District 7’s Umpire in Chief at alanmccrn@yahoo.com to request to be added to his umpire training list.  He will email you the training dates and schedules.  As we always say, even if you are not interested in umpiring, the training will give you a better understanding of, not only the umpire, but the game and rules as well.

Closing day ceremonies will be held Saturday, June 4th. This day will include festivities, similar to what took place on Opening Day, as well as the announcement of our 2017 Board and our 2016 ALL STARS! Make sure your kids are keeping their eyes open and scouting who they think is the best of the best! Voting will take place at each teams last home game! There will be a meeting at TTLL Tuesday, May 17th at 8:00 p.m.

We have HUGE plans for our upcoming 2017 season & we’ll be needing a lot of hands on deck and a lot sponsors as well! Please reach out if you can sponsor us, know someone who may or you are willing to help find some sponsors.

Our 2017 season will be our 50th anniversary! We look forward to making it the best year yet and having you a part of it!
