One of our own players, 12 year old Sadie Kirkland, needs our help!
Sadie had a sinus infection that got into her brain. She received emergency brain surgery that took place on Tuesday, 3/17, to get rid of the infection and to clean out her whole sinus cavity. She is still in ICU. She has a breathing tube and is sedated to let her brain rest.
Sadie will still require additional procedures before she’s ready to go home, which is at least 3 weeks from now. We are asking for donations to help with medical expenses and the family’s hardship. Anything you can donate to help is greatly appreciated.
Sadie loves softball, music, her family and friends and helping others, especially kids with challenges. She's one special girl.
